This is an AMAZING find!! I am still in shock about it! Personally, I think it is sad that the guy only last 40 hours without any technology and that he basically had a nervous breakdown. So much about what he said is true though: society is in such demand now, that people do get annoyed/pissed off when you do not answer their text message back 1 minute after they have sent it. I had my phone on silent today while taking an exam and after the test I had 4 text messages 2 which consisted of "hello???" and "where the f--- are you?" I wanted to strangle the person because people's lack of patience when it comes to these tools are incredibly irritating to me. I understand this man's worry about being in touch with his daughter while he was away...but couldn't he have left the hotel number with the adult that was watching her in the event she wanted to talk to her father? This clip was just so amazing and I can go on and on for hours about it. Thank you so much for sharing it!!

Okay - this video was so my life the first two weeks of school this semester - and for a month before the semester started. I had no phone, no cell phone, no tv, no internet. Do you remember how absolutely crazy I was at the beginning of 307? I was sure I was going to fail because I couldn't get online to do my blogging.

I can certainly relate with how difficult it is to live life without all of this "stuff". I can honestly say, however, that I could have made it if I hadn't had school work. I didn't mind the lack of tv or even the phone (actually not having a phone was rather a nice break). I don't have the iPod stuff and I don't use the internet all that much when I'm not in school. I guess I wouldn't have a nervous breakdown over it.

Anyway, the point is well taken that as a nation, and as individuals, we have become very dependent on technology. Imagine if you didn't have any of that in your personal life and couldn't have access to it in your professional life either. Then put yourself in the place of lots of kids who really and truly don't have access to lots of this stuff.
